College Bound Tour Arrives Home

The College Bound Tour returned home on Saturday. The tour concluded with games in the Indoor Facility after visiting Georgia Southern and Emory University. The girls provided the following report of the last days of the tour –

        We started our day off early, waking up at 7 am, and driving two hours before arriving on the College of Charleston campus. It was a beautiful school with a cool town surrounding the college. We jumped on a couple of tours then made our way to the soccer facilities a couple miles off campus. After talking to the coaches, we had lunch in the town of Charleston and shopped at some neat stores. After a 3 hour drive, we arrived at GA Southern University. We quickly changed, talked to the coaches, and were able to play around and do a few drills on their field before watching the girls training session. We then toured the campus and the amazing recreational center. We were back on the road for a few hours before arriving to our hotel in Macon. We ate dinner at a Mexican restaurant downtown, and had our waiter surprise Russell by singing happy birthday to him. We arrived back to our hotel later that night and got some good sleep. We are all having an amazing experience and are sad the trip is coming to an end tomorrow.
